How does fixed, capped pricing work?
The price is agreed in writing before we start. If the project gets complicated, the overrun is on the consultant, not on you. We do not sell buckets of hours as our main offer; they exist only inside retainers.
What is a paid assessment and what does it include?
A fixed-price diagnostic from USD $550, with real access to your system and a deliverable in 5 to 10 days. The deliverable is yours whether or not you continue with us. And if you hire the resulting project, the assessment credits in full toward the price.
How much does an Oracle to PostgreSQL migration cost?
From USD $7,500 in stages, capped (up to USD $25,000+ depending on scope). It is quoted on the Migration Assessment, which delivers the object inventory, the risk matrix and the real effort before moving a single row.
Is it risky to migrate my production database?
Oracle stays in production until PostgreSQL proves, in parallel and under real load, that it responds the same or better. The cutover is reversible: there is a tested rollback before the cut. We never turn something off hoping the new thing works.
Who owns the code and data when it is done?
You do. The code, the data and the documentation stay in your hands, with no licenses or proprietary pieces tying you to us. Full ownership.
Do you invoice in the US and in Mexico?
Yes. We invoice in USD from DBA Experts LLC (United States) or with CFDI in MXN from DBA Developers S.A.S. (Mexico, 0% VAT on service exports). You choose based on your operation.
Do you work with US clients?
Yes. We offer fractional DBA/DRE, remote, with real overlap on US business hours, invoiced in USD from the US LLC. Ideal for teams running PostgreSQL in production without a full-time DBA.
